Teaching

My teaching interests primarily lie in the field of econometrics, which involves applying statistical methods to economic data. I believe in using a practical approach to teaching, where students simulate data sets with known data generating processes. This helps students understand how different methods of analysis yield different estimates, and develops their intuition about the subject. By providing a hands-on learning experience, students gain a deeper understanding of what happens when different regression techniques are applied.
